I am an 18 - across the board usually. With most brands. So I confidently ordered these pants in a few colours. The quality is great but the sizing is a bit off (for me anyway). The pants are too tight. I would definitely size up one or two sizes in these pants. And the butter tees.

Don’t get me wrong, i absolutely love my downtowns. i have probably 7 or 8 pairs going back to the original ones with the big round button and no elastic back. However i find the sizing hard to figure out! I’m between a 12 - 14 and quite short, the older black style with the button size 12 fit me like a dream but the recentish charcoal in a 12 are quite small. i went up to a 14 in the ecru colour but they’re quite baggy and i’ll have to get them hemmed. most recently bought the light grey pinstripe and dusty rose colour both in a 12, i’ve returned the light grey but the the pink is lovely and fits super well. to be fair the grey pinstripe is a slightly different and lighter nonstretch fabric. Anyway, it’s just something to keep in mind.

that aside i absolutely adore these pants, they’re so flattering and great for work. you can dress them up or down so easily, wear with sneakers or dressier shoes. they’re really SO versatile :)

Honestly my go to pants now, so comfy stylish and true to size!

The downtowns are my favorite and most comfortable pants I have them in 5 colors. Stretchy and perfect fitting for us short girls.
