1. Washing Instructions

• Cold Hand Wash: For the best results and to preserve the integrity of the fabric, we recommend hand washing your pieces in cold water. This gentle method is especially important for delicate items and knitwear. 
• Cold Hand Soak: For the safest care, especially with delicates and items prone to damage, a cold hand soak is the most gentle and effective method.
• Gentle Machine Wash: If you prefer machine washing, use a gentle cycle with cold water. Always place your garments in a delicates bag or a pillowcase to protect them from potential snags and damage. 
• Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Use mild detergents free from bleach, brighteners, and enzymes to maintain the fabric's quality.
• Separate Colours: Always wash light and dark colours separately to prevent colour transfer.

2. Drying Instructions

• Air Dry: After washing, reshape your garments and lay them flat or hang them in the shade to air dry. Avoid direct sunlight, which can fade colours and weaken fabrics.
• Do not tumble dry: Heat can cause shrinkage and damage to delicate fibres.
• Ironing and Steaming: If necessary, iron or steam on a low setting and inside out to remove wrinkles. Be cautious with delicate fabrics and knitwear to avoid heat damage.

3. Special Care for Knitwear

• Knitwear requires extra attention due to its delicate nature. Handle with care to prevent stretching or pulling. Avoid hanging knit items, as this can cause them to lose their shape; instead, lay them flat to dry.

4. Disclaimer

• Fayt is not responsible for any damage caused to items by washing machines, laundry products, irons, or steamers. This includes but is not limited to garments being caught in the washing machine, damage caused by heat or steam, or damage from stains, bleaching, brightening agents, or dye leakage from other items.
