Refunds, store credits & exchanges are available at Fayt The Label.
Our return period is 28 days from delivery date.
Fayt The Label offer refunds on all full priced items/orders.
If you purchased using a welcome or any other discount code or during a site wide sale, you will only be eligible for a store credit.
Permanent sale items from our sale page, pierced jewellery, and hair accessories are not eligible for returns, so please choose carefully.
The item must be unworn, unwashed and unused with original tags attached with proof of purchase provided (proof of purchase can be your order number, or your invoice received with your order). Fayt The Label has the right to reject a return if they do not meet the above conditions. In this instance, we will contact you and organise to send back the return.
Important note: Fayt can only accept returns on items that are in their absolute original condition, items must be unworn, unwashed and have all original swing tags in place.
If you send back an item and it is not in it's original condition ie it has makeup stains, we will not be able to process your return and you will be responsible for paying the shipping cost of $8AUD to have the item sent back to you. Please ensure you aren't sending back dirty items to avoid dealing with the above. We want to process your returns for you :)

For full transparency, processing returns is an expensive process for a business and the cost of processing returns is not implemented into the price of our items. Costs included with processing a return are:
- Staff wages spent going through and manually checking/processing all returns/re bagging returns and restocking them
- Cost of new packaging for return items including barcodes
For our refunds, we use a company called Loop. We pay Loop a monthly subscription to use their refund service, as well as having them taking a percentage of every single order that is processed for a refund with them.
This very quickly adds up, hence why we are in the position of only being able to offer a refund on full priced orders - as processing a refund costs us more than just the refund amount going to the customer.
We hope this provides some more clarity on our refunds process and we hope that our customers can make an informed decision at checkout, prioritising whether they'd like to use a discount code, or shop at full price knowing a refund will be available.

When processing a return for an exchange in our portal, you will easily be able to follow the prompts.
If choosing an instant exchange, our system will charge you an additional $1 as a hold in your bank account.
As soon as that $1 hold is processed, Fayt will receive your exchange as a new order in our system and your new item will be sent out to you from our warehouse.
Unfortunately, Fayt The Label cannot cover any return shipping costs for your original item coming back to us, or the cost to send out your new exchanged item.
You will be charged a $16 handling fee, which covers shipping both ways ($8 for your item to come back to us, and $8 for your new item to be sent to you). This cost is cheaper for you than if you were to go to your local post office as Fayt absorbs some of the cost on your behalf.
You will be reminded after processing your return that it needs to be sent back to us in the mail. If your original return item tracking has not registered after 14 days, you will be charged in full for the new item that we already sent out to you. So please ensure to get your original return back to us before the 14 day mark to avoid this happening.
If you don't wish to use our instant exchange feature, you are more than able to lodge a standard exchange or store credit return in our portal.

Return shipping for change of mind or incorrect fit is customer borne and non refundable.
When processing your return through our portal, you will be charged an $8 handling fee and a label will be generated for you and sent to you via email.
For international: Unfortunately our system is unable to generate an international return label for you. Once you have processed your return through our portal, you will be required to take your parcel to your local post office to purchase a shipping label of your own, this will be charged to you at the rate that your post office sets.
We recommend keeping your tracking details as Fayt The Label are not liable for returns lost in transit. If you have received a faulty or incorrect item - we will bear the return shipping cost. We hope to be able to offer free return shipping in the future.

If you are using a discount code on full priced stock, you are still eligible for a return but only for a store credit. A refund option will only be available for items purchased at full price.
This also applies to items purchased in a sitewide sale.

Yes, we accept and process online returns in store.
There is no need to submit your return through our online portal if you are bringing it in store, just bring it on in!
Please note that the only employees in store that can process your online return are our store managers & assistant store managers. If either are not present on your visit, your details will be taken down by our team and your return will be processed as soon as the responsible person is back on the floor.

Our pieces are made from beautiful quality fabric. To keep it in it's best condition we always recommend looking after your pieces with the highest level of care.
Either hand wash or pop your pieces in a delicates bag into the washing machine on a cold gentle wash cycle with like colours. Hang your pieces in the shade to dry. Handle your knitwear with extra care due to their delicate nature.FAYT will not be responsible for any damage caused to items from washing machines or laundry products - this includes items being caught on a washing machine or products causing stains, bleaching or dye leaking.
To avoid any items being damaged, FAYT advises a cold hand wash always.
